Paul Plotnick is a licensed Mental Health Counselor who has specialized in treating anxiety, stress, phobias, adjustment depression and family issues. He was a school psychologist for over 30 years and has experience working with children, adolescents, parents and families. He is a retired Army Reserve Major with over 20 years of service, and this allows him to relate well with service men and women and their families. He was also an adjunct professor of Psychology at Rockland Community College.
He received advanced training in Ericksonian Psychotherapy and Hypnosis as well as Divorce Mediation. He believes that with intervention, positive changes can be found, achieved and maintained. He specializes in treating anxiety, stress, phobias, depression, adjustment problems, and family issues. He is also qualified to treat smoking and weight issues.
